Biography
Dr. Karen Churchill is the President and CEO of Ag-West Bio. AWB has a 30-year track record of business development in Saskatchewan, connecting companies to the resources they need for success. Karen received a MSc and BSA from the University of Saskatchewan and a PhD in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. Her previous roles include Product Development Scientist at M&M Mars, Global Quality Projects Manager for Cargill Malt, and the Director of Research and Market Support for Cereals Canada. As AWB’s CEO, Karen continues to develop initiatives to support innovation and commercialization in the agriculture, bioscience and agri-food sectors.

Karen Churchill will be performing with Herb Clarke
Herb Clarke is the director of -DecaDanceYXE- in Saskatoon. He has been teaching Ballroom and Latin Dancing for 45 years and is a former Canadian Rhythm Champion. Herb has been seen on “Championship Ballroom Dancing” with Julliet Prowse and had his own teaching series on Shaw Cable in Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Herb is registered with the Canadian Dancesport Federation and is a past member of the Board of Directors of Dance Saskatchewan and is also the former Dance Director for the U of S Ballroom Dancing Club.
