Dr Gabriela Campos-Baniak and partner Leah Frei

Leah Frei is the creator of Saskiz. Leah has been teaching Kizomba and Urban Kiz since 2019 in Saskatoon, as well as being featured at workshops and festivals in other cities.  She is the heartbeat of the local Kizomba community; running classes, dance socials and large weekend events that bring people from all across Western Canada together.  Her focus on teaching excellence, inclusivity, and community has put Saskatoon on the Kizomba dancing map! Leah is deeply inspired to continue to learn and grow as a dancer and as a teacher, frequently travelling throughout Canada, the USA and Europe to train with the world’s best instructors. This will be her first time performing with Swinging with the Stars, and she is very excited to showcase a fast-paced and dynamic Semba routine!
